- Studio / 1-bedroom flat: 10–15 crates
- 2-bedroom apartment: 15–25 crates
- 3-bedroom house: 25–35 crates
- 4+ bedroom house: 35+ crates
These numbers cover the contents that actually go into crates — kitchenware, books, clothes, bathroom bits, and general household stuff. Furniture, appliances, and large items don't need crates.
Room-by-room breakdown
Kitchen: 5–8 crates
The kitchen always takes longer than people expect. Plates, glasses, pots, half-empty spice jars, that blender you forgot you owned — it adds up. Our 80-litre crates fit a full set of plates or a stack of pots with room for padding.
Bedroom: 3–5 crates per room
Clothes, shoes, bedside drawers, and personal items. Folded clothes pack efficiently into our crates — they're cleaner than cardboard and nothing gets dusty or damp.
Bathroom: 1–2 crates
Towels, toiletries, whatever's under the sink. You'll knock this room out in ten minutes.
Living room: 3–5 crates
Books, DVDs, decorations, electronics, photo frames. If you're a book collector, add a few extra — books are heavy and it's better to split them across more crates.
Home office: 2–4 crates
Paperwork, cables, stationery, that drawer full of chargers you never use. Our crates keep documents flat and organised so you're not sorting chaos at the other end.
