How the hire process works

You choose a pack size based on how many rooms you're moving — our pricing page lists the Starter, Mover, and House Pack options. We deliver the crates to your Gold Coast address on the date you need them. You pack, move, and unpack. Then we schedule a collection time and pick everything up. You don't have to leave the house for any of it.

Hire periods are typically one week or two weeks, which gives you enough time to pack before moving day and unpack at the other end without rushing. Need a few extra days? Just let us know.

Delivery area

We deliver across the entire Gold Coast, from Coomera in the north to Coolangatta in the south, and inland to Mudgeeraba and Nerang. That includes high-demand areas like Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Robina, Southport, Burleigh Heads, and Hope Island.

If you're moving within a suburb or across town, the logistics are the same — we come to you. Residents moving from Surfers Paradise or Robina are among our most frequent customers, but there's no suburb too far north or south for a delivery.

Choosing the right pack size

Roughly: a studio or one-bedroom flat needs 10–15 crates, a two-bedroom apartment needs 15–25, and a three-to-four bedroom house needs 30–40. Our fixed packs are sized around these ranges so you're not counting individual crates — just pick the pack that matches your home and you'll have enough.

Packing hire vs buying cardboard boxes

Most people's first instinct is to buy cardboard boxes from Bunnings or a removalist supplier. It seems cheaper upfront — but once you add tape, markers, the time spent assembling and taping, and then breaking everything down and disposing of it afterwards, the gap closes fast.
